About This Project

I like to host at my place, and I really like music. Nowadays, there are a slew of IoT music devices – however, they all typically only allow one device to connect at a time. What if you want a cheap way to democratize the soundtrack of your evening? Enter a Raspberry Pi and one fantastic library for it called the Pi MusicBox!┬áPi MusicBox is a turn-key music server the utilizes Mopidy and a slick online interface to create a modern jukebox for any location. Coupled with a simple enclosure (like the black one I used), you can easily set-up a virtual jukebox that anyone can access from the phone and use to queue up music!
